Dermot will hold fond memories for us here in Askeaton, along with the wider parish of Ballysteen, Kilcornan and St. Senan's (Foynes/Shanagolden), as he filmed our Limerick Under-21 Hurling Final win, a unique achievement for our club, at Seán Finn Park in Rathkeale last December. Thank you Dermot, RIP.

Very sorry to hear of Dermots passing. Dermot would have done video for a lot of Sixmilebridge matches from 2013 onwards and he was most obliging and often stayed around after matches to process and download the match to Dvd before handing over for analysis. He often had a cup of tea at my house while waiting. I met him for lunch last year in Ennis and we had a good aul chat. He will be sadly missed. RIP Demot, a great Gaa man.

Sincere condolences to Anne Marie, Eoin, Eabha and Flaherty Family on the passing of Dermot.
I met Dermot first at Videographers meeting in Mayo in the 1990’s. Our paths crossed at many video shows throughout the years. Dermot was always interested in hearing about news developments in video production. My last meeting with Dermot was in 2022 in Gort
when I sold him my treasured Vinten 100 tripod head which appears in this notice. We will always remember Dermot in the video production community in Galway and Mayo.
