I was hugely moved by the tribute to Dermot by his brother Pat at the funeral yesterday. My deepest sympathy to his wife and daughter and to his mother, siblings, neices and nephews. He was obviously an adored member of the family, the love of Dermot and the grief caused by his loss was palpable at the funeral.
My hope is that the huge turnout at his removal and funeral will be of some consolation to his devastated family. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
