I was deeply saddened to hear about Dermot’s passing. I met him ten years ago in Dublin, and he was always such an interesting person to talk to—thoughtful, insightful, and full of unique perspectives. I have fond memories of meeting him on many occasions, especially a particularly memorable weekend down in Wexford. He’ll be missed. My thoughts are with his family and close friends.

I was shocked to hear about Dermot’s sudden passing. Dermot always had a strong presence, his laugh was so unique and infectious that you knew straight away that he was present. He was the king of Halloween and a master of creativity. I always looked forward to his outfit every year. I will miss is wittiness, his intellect and that laugh ! He was taken away from us too soon.
