I first met Dermot back in the late 80s and always respected him as a true gentleman.
A big loss to you all.
Apologies for the late condolences, I was away at the time and was shocked and saddened when Pat told me the news.

Dermot and myself played around the middle of the field together for Scoil in the 1970’s. He was a giant of a man on and off the field and always had words of encouragement for younger players breaking into the senior ranks. A great clubman.
