The reaching monologue, delivered with rugged wit and unspoken sadness, is done. It's echoes fade to silence among the dusty rafters. Heard no more but in the hearts of those who knew him. For we were, every one of us, moved withal. May you finally find peace Dermot. We will miss you.....Deepest condolences to all who are closest to this terrible tragedy.

Can't believe this sad news. Dermot had such a great impression on everyone and was always funloving good natured and a great actor. Sincere condolences to his wife and family.

My most sincerest condolences on your loss. I was lucky enough to know Dermot and to see such wonderful sides of him, not the least of which was laughter, his love of song and singing and even using his phone to search for songs for those around him to sing. He was always positive and upbeat. I am grateful for this gift. I cannot imagine your loss, let me just add my thoughts and prayers to you, your family and Dermot. RIP friend. Sláinte!

Went to school with Dermot & like everyone, got on with him very well. Great times, in particular at the school musical & other musical ventures. Very sad to hear this news. RIP
