To Pat and family and particularly Barbara and Peter whom I knew
We were very sad to hear of Dermots passing and we only found out about this news earlier this week as we were away on holiday so unfortunately we missed the funeral and the opportunity to offer our deepest sympathies directly to you all .
From my earliest years working with Flogas where Dermot was a much valued founding shareholder and well respected Director I got to know him and I was always taken by his keen interest in all the staff at Flogas to whom he was courteous and most kind and helpful, He was very instrumental in a hands on way with the early foundations of Flogas success in a competitive and difficult market .
Both Theresa and I enjoyed many social occasions with both Pat and Dermot and we enjoyed the company immensely
I have since retired as MD of Flogas in 2015 and I can safely say that even today amongst the original staff remaining in Flogas he will remembered as a true gentleman and a very genuine person
May he rest in peace
