Condolences to all the family and friends of Dermot - definitely a character the likes of which we will not see again. I worked in NMA back in the early 90s and always remember Dermot coming down to my late father's funeral even though I had been only in the place two months and telling me to take whatever time I needed off.
I remember and appreciate that to this day.
Thanks Dermot and RIP.
Dear Tom and all the family. My sincere condolences to you all. I always enjoyed sharing Dermot’s company and we always had a chuckle about something and I know he was such a talented architect and businessman that loved his family more than anything.
R.I.P Dermot
Sincere Sympathies to Tom, Lee & all the Mulligan Family on the passing of your dear Dad
Rest in Peace
Tom,Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your extended family on the loss of your dad.I recall so many memorable meetings with Dermot beginning with our first in 1995.He was an outstanding gentleman, intelligent, kind and courteous, charitable, honest and without a mean bone in his body.I enjoyed every meeting I had with him.His company,NMA,enshrined Dermot's values.I have met few,if any,of his ilk.
Sleep well my friend.
You meet a lot of people in life, but some stay with you no matter how many decades pass. From the moment I first met Mr Mulligan (as I referred to him back then though he insisted on Dermot), it was clear to me I was dealing with a thoroughly deaccent and welcoming man. He was a great conversationist, enlivened with his gift of pitch-perfect comic timing, but as with the best of them, he was also a great listener. And generous to a fault! I know I speak for my late parents and all in the Donohue family in counting ourselves among the many who had huge affection for Dermot.

I ran into him in Gleesons a few years back where he was having lunch. I was thrilled to see the same old sharp humour had not faded a jot. So glad that he maintained such a quality of life for so long.

Sincere condolences to Lee, Tom, immediate and extended family.

He was so proud of you all .Many memories rest in my heart of uncle D,racing around the treacherous corners of ballymoney at insane speed, it’s a mystery that he managed 91 years ! Our yearly exchange of Christmas cards across the Atlantic Ocean How an interaction with him was always heart felt , memorable and sometimes cheeky , which always made me chuckle ! He was a remarkable man, building a great innovative practice, producing his lovely family, dealing with many of life's ups and downs so well and yet always maintaining a great sense of fun and continually having some great jokes to tell. He will be missed and our sympathies to you all as you deal with your great loss.

He was such a wonderful, warm, engaging, hospitable and funny character whom we always loved to meet - what a repertoire of inappropriate jokes, honed to perfection over decades of delivery - they simply don’t make them like Dermot any more - he will be greatly missed

May he rest in eternal peace

Wishing Tom, Lee and your families our deepest sympathies on the loss of your dear father.
Dermot was a great friend of my family in Sligo and a very welcome guest on his regular visits to his hometown. As a child I remember this dashing architect whose flying visits brought a sense of adventure and with that the boundless possibilities offered by the profession he practised with such ease and flair.
Despite his hugely busy practice he was always generous with his time and supportive to me as a young architect especially when I needed a listening ear and some sage advice.
We will miss him, his sense of fun, his generosity, graciousness and kindness of heart. May Dermot rest in peace.
Condolences to the Mulligan family. Dermot was an absolute gentleman, may he rest in eternal peace.

My condolences to Tom, Lee and extended Mulligan family.

We grew up together from the age of 12 loving Mr. Mulligan, as I always referred to him, until he would reprimand me. What a truly, one of a kind, character he was!

He was generous in spirit and deeds. Laughter was large part of every encounter with Dermot.

Thank you for all the great memories, Dermot.
Rest in Peace.
Tom, Lee and extended family,
