Ita used to come to my shop in Dunshaughlin and in the latter years Derry would be with her. Such fun we would have finding something special for one of their many social occasions.

It’s a great sadness that I read of the passing of Dermot. I only met them about nine years ago when I had broken my arm, but I have been a neighbor for 43 years later . I would meet them out having coffee and they were avery enjoyable couple and enjoy their company and I remember well that they loved Pavlova. I actually brought a Pavlova to they one Christmas Eve and only recently I met Dermot in Avoca and I gave him a slice of Pavlova to bring home for his tea. May Dermot can rest in peace
