Mary & Ian. It was lovely to meet you today and there was such a lovely warm and friendly group together for his final farewell. My condolences to your mother also.
Dermot would have been very happy with the send off he received.
It was a beautiful tribute to him and the service was fittingly respectful, nostalgic, musical, poignant and celebratory of his achievements.
The final song summed up his contribution to the world as he really made a difference during his time here on earth - and he did it his way. May he rest in peace.
