Sincere sympathy to Jeanie, the O'Mahony, Keohane & Setter Families on the unexpected passing of Derry. Shocked and saddened to hear the news. Since meeting in 2018 we had kept in contact on a regular basis. A lovely gentleman and always a pleasure to talk to. He will be missed.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.

It was with sadness that I heard of the untimely passing of Derry to his eternal reward. I have known Derry going back to when he joined Craig Gardner/Price Waterhouse which then became PWC, over 40 years ago. Over all the years since I would regularly meet him at Munster Rugby matches. My condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace.

Trish (Bartle of sticks) and family, so sorry to hear of Derrys passing. What happy times we had growing up in Tramore Road, simple times where our dads swapped cabbage plants!! Derry was always a character and was regulary in our house with Anthony, we had great fun with him growing up! Fondest memories

Derry went out of his way to make me feel welcome and to help me settle in when I joined the Cork office in 2013. We sat opposite each other when we moved to Albert Quay and Derry always took the time to check in on me and my family. One of life's genuine good guys, he is a loss to us all.

I was so saddened to hear of Derry's untimely death. As so many have said and as a fellow UCC classmate I remember him as a true and gentle person, full of wit and genuine care and concern for others, a wonderful human being. May God bless and care for his soul RIP.

Condolences to Patricia, John and the extended Keohane family on Derry's sudden death. I first met Derry in UCC in the late1970's and he worked with Mary & my brother Pat in PwC. He was very unassuming, told it as it was, loved his Munster Rugby and Cork GAA matches and was a thoroughly nice guy. He went too early and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Having been at Derry's funeral for the past few days, it now dawns on me fully that I will not see or hear him again. The word 'gentleman' is often overused but it was coined specially for Derry. A better, more loyal, more true friend I could not wish for. We had great times together and I will miss them dearly, especially all the laughing, joking and storytelling. You were the best. May your gentle soul rest in peace--nobody deserves it more.

I'll always remember when I ran into Derry over in Paris as we were both heading to the European Cup game at the Stade de France. Derry being Derry was concerned that I would be safe over there and advised on taking the train early to avoid any issues. He was always considerate of others and how they were.

My sincerest sympathies to all of the Keohane family at this very sad time. I will forever have fond memories of working with Derry- he always had time for a chat or a laugh even at the busiest of times. You couldn’t work for a nicer person.
