I have just become sadly aware of Derry’s passing. Derry personified elegance eloquence and empathy in everything he did and said and showed. Indeed as did his wonderful Bernie too.
No wonder they were such an inspiring couple and family. They left a huge impact on their French friends with whom there were many cultural and social exchanges. We shall miss both of them but their joie de vivre, their generous and joyous spirit shall remain present and powerful for us all.
