So Sorry to learn . So much gratitude to such a wonderful teacher. He changed my life. Thank you Des.

Only today I heard with sadness the passing of Des. I remember well his patron for drawing and his dedication to lectur young upcoming artist.

Des taught me, a mature student, at IADT in 2020. He was such a lovely person and very inspiring, giving students really good attention and advice during that difficult covid year. I'll never forget him giving us lectures out in the freezing courtyard, and then teaching us three point perspective over zoom. He is such a loss to the art world and to all who knew him.
