So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Des, A great Gentleman from a family of great Gentlemen & Ladies, a truly lovely family who I have had the pleasure of knowing for more years than I wish to think about,

Have very fond memories of our younger days coming to Ireland all staying together,And then you coming to england Had some great laughs, I'll always remember that giggle you had, Thinking of all my cousins in Ireland of the loss of there brother our cousin Desi ,A great Fella 💙🫶

I’m very sorry indeed to hear of Des’s passing, even though it is such a long time since I knew him back in our Glasthule days growing up.
Back in the day, a couple of the lads went camping to Gormanston & while Des struck me as a very shy guy then, we hit it off when we realised that both of us were big fans of the music of the great Jimmy Webb & his album at that time, “Words & Music”. Simple & wonderful times. To Patrick & the family, my sincere condolences. To Des, Rest In Peace. Keep listening to the music.
