Des Hickey

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Des. I had the pleasure of working with Des in Corrib Printers many moons ago. He was an absolute gentleman may he rest in peace.

On behalf of the Athenry Agricultural Show committee, I offer our sincere condolences to Clodagh, his wife Kathleen, Robyn and extended family. Des was a hugh help and totally committed to our show over the years. He was a tremendous help on the days coming up to the Show and on the days afterwards, and of course, he was central to our dog show on the day of the Show itself. Rest in peace, Des.

So sorry to hear of Des's passing. An exceptionally nice and helpful person.
I will alway remember his kindness to my Mother and our pleasant conversations.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of my Uncle Des. He was a wonderful godfather, and I will always cherish the memories of staying with him and Kathleen and all the kids on my holidays. He always made me feel so welcome, and I looked forward to those visits every year. He had such a warm heart and a kind spirit, and I know he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He had a way of making everyone feel special, and I am so grateful to have had him in my life.
