Julie and Family, I am so sorry to hear that Dessie has passed away. You must be devastated. My heart breaks for all of you. I have fond memories of him, and will always remember his smile, his kindness and his sense of humour. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very sad time..

Auntie Julie, Elaine, Jenny, John, and all the family and extended Bolton family, my heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your beloved Des. What a tremendous loss he is to you all.

Uncle Des will always be remembered with great love — for the way he brought people together, whether it was cooking up a feast on the BBQ when we were little, to opening his home so warmly every St. Stephen’s Day, or filling a room with his beautiful singing at a family gathering. He had a rare gift for making moments special, and those memories will stay with me.

May he now be at peace, reunited with his beautiful granddaughter Brea.
