My deepest condolences on your loss. It’s hard to find words that truly express the sadness of losing someone so dear. May you be surrounded by peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Sincere condolences to Des and Laura at the loss of your father. I have many wonderful memories of working with and for him. He was instrumental in changing the fortunes of many young people and giving them the opportunity to earn pocket money and instilling in them the life lesson of being rewarded for working hard. Rest in peace Brian.
Brian was my brother in law married to Nora my sister. Brian did a lot of firsts for me, first international football game at Dalymount Park, we were both pushed through the gates and ended up on the sidelines of Ireland v Italy (world champions at that time). He gave me my first driving lessons… I crashed soon after :). Brian was a kind and generous man with his time, but like most of our generation he had many challenges; now, may he finally rest in peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

So sad to hear the news of the death of Brian.I had the pleasure of his close company over many years as members of St Francis Xavier’s boys club Sherrard St. Dublin.Brian was a little older than me but we enjoyed each others company, he was generous with his advice and guidance when asked. In the late 60s, he asked me to join him playing for Columbus CYMS football team as an apprentice I informed Brian I had no transport to get to games. No problem he said I will collect you and drive you home after the game.Generous to a fault, had a long text from him about this time last year great to have had a little catch up.Truly great times, great memories of a wonderful person always remember you rest easy dear friend.Sympathy to Family and Friends.
