I have known Des since his early days starting out and throughout our working lives we kept in touch always.
A remarkable personality and a man with great energy. I will truly miss the odd chat we had and am so sad Des didn't have enough time to really enjoy his planned retirement in Florida and on the Golf Course

Very sorry and sad to hear of the passing of Des, we knew him from his footballing days, he was a very strong and committed forward and he scored many an important goal for us.
