It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Des, a dear neighbour from years gone by. Though it’s been years since we last crossed paths, our memories of Des and his beloved wife Maura remain close to my heart.

I will always remember from my childhood, the warmth of their company and the countless friendly chats shared over the back garden wall — simple moments that meant so much and left lasting impressions.

Knowing that Des is reunited with Maura and Des Jnr brings a bittersweet comfort. May they find eternal peace together, as a family once more.


Thinking of all of Des' sons and extended family, whilst sending heartfelt condolences to you all at this difficult time.
