I was very sorry to learn of the passing of Des. He both loved and lived the Eucharist - so faithful, so appreciative, so giving of himself, always. My heart goes out to Pauline, and to all his family, on their great loss.

I met Des as a wild 20 year old who had little faith in God on my first trip to Medujorge.Des CHANGED my life and kept in touch with me for 15 years up until this day.He was forever kind & faithful to me and helped me grow so close to God.He gave me the BEST gift I possess today and that is my FAITH Xxx.I am forever grateful to Des ❤❤ I will never forget you my good &faithful friend xx

Des was a lovely, kind gentleman! I worked with Des in O’Leary Insurances. He was always on hand to help his younger colleagues ! There wasn’t much Des didn’t know about insurance! So sad to hear the news. My condolences to his family
