Our deepest condolences on the death of your dear daddy.
He was one of the first people we met when we moved to Newcastle and responsible for securing our family home close to your own.
Ciarán recalled how Desmond, in typical selfless neighbour fashion, drove the family to the hospital in Belfast to be at the bedside of our dad as he lay dying...an act never to be forgotten, ever cherished.
May memories of happy times help ease your loss and pain.
Fondly remembered by Nuala, Aidín, Ciarán, Feargus, Ité and Breandán.
Rest in peace, Desmond.
