I had the pleasure of meeting Des on a number of occasions through my work. He was an absolute gentleman & always so appreciative of any assistance that was provided for him. Had lovely chats with him about his days living in France & all his many cultural interests. My sincere sympathies to Gary & his extended family & friends. RIP Des.
