Dear Julie, Phillip and Grace Ann,
My belated heartfelt condolences and shock to hear Des had passed away, I only heard the sad news a week ago.
When we were late teens and early 20's we were good mates, at the Bayside badminton club and a often few beers in Howth Summit. When Des first moved to London after UCD he stayed at my flat in Ruislip for a long time. We even did a drinking holiday together in Greece! Regrettably we lost touch when I moved to Australia and HK.
Des was too young to leave this world, may he rest in peace.
