Des will be fondly remembered by many generations of barristers at the Law Library and in particular those located at the Distillery Building on Church Street. Very missed when he retired, Des was always courteous, pleasant and obliging. He really enjoyed a good story and was always there to share in or provide a good laugh to brighten up the dullest of days. His small kindnesses - and there were many - shown to those starting in a new profession should not be overlooked. May he rest in peace.
