Our heartfelt condolences to you Breda and to Dessie's sisters and inlaws at this sad time. We all remember Dessie fondly from his younger days in Meadowlands, perfecting his bicycle skills, always a happy smile on his face. In latter years our memories would be an exchange of chat with Dessie in passing when out on the Tralee social scene. Rest peacefully Dessie. Keeping you all in our thoughts.

Very sorry to hear of the untimely death of Des.R.I.P. I have fond memories of Des in the classroom in C.B.S. Always so pleasant and good humoured.

I remember being friends with Dessie as a young child growing up in Meadowlands Dessie was always good natured, and had a sense of fun and adventure especially around cycling which he was very talented at and became very passionate in at the time. I also remember his great work ethic even at such a young age . Any time I have met Dessie since those times he was always a gentleman and a pleasure to meet.
