One in a million Dessie, you will be sorely missed. One of our favourite men that walked this earth. So many great horse racing adventures across the globe, Cheltenham, New York, Texas to name but a few. May you travel on to your eternal reward. Johnny will be waiting with a racecard from Fairyhouse, for you to pick the winner of the Grand National on Monday, and him to tell you that you are wrong! I remember one Saturday evening in Hanrattys after the Golf Society back in the 90's, and you jumped up and sang 'Joe Hill' on the mic, I never heard it sung as good since. Always a smile and a laugh, a caring, kind and warm family man. Sincere sympathies to your adored Patsy, Catherine, Fiona and James and your extended family and many friends around the world. The light is dimmer tonight, but your light shines brightly in our hearts. Rest easy my friend.
