My sincerest sympathies to you both Adrien and Lauran on the dead of Detta . She was a wonderful person and I enjoyed our many evenings together . May she rest in peace now . I will be thinking of you both over the next few days.
My warmest sympathy to Detta's family. She cherished her visits to Wicklow and the love that surrounded her. Thank you for allowing myself and the Carers to share in that care.
Detta & her whole family were such a big part of my life when I joined the American Women's Club of Dublin in 1992. I'll always cherish Detta's sharing of her experiences, advice and generosity in opening up her home for memorable get togethers. Her love of cooking, gardening, art work, decorating and reading will always stand out in my mind. May she rest in peace and my sincere Condolences to Adrian, Lauren and her grandchildren. Xxx

How lucky was I to move next door to Detta for a number of years in 2010 and then to move across the green to my own home near her to this day. Detta was beautiful, classy and had style. I offer my sincere condolences to her son Adrian her daughter Lauren and her adored grandchildre whom we often spoke about over a coffee of an afternoon in her lovely cosy warm apartment, which was adorned with her paintings. RIP Detta.
