I am so very sad that my oldest dearest friend Diane has passed away. We met at school, became friends and remained so all of our lives. We lived apart in more recent years but always had our phone calls . Diane was truly one of the best people i have ever known. She had a heart of gold . Loyalty, kindness and caring came so naturally to her. As youngsters we shared so many happy times. We loved our holidays in Wales and stayed at Diane's aunt and sometimes Diane's mum and sister joined us which was so lovely. Memories..weddings and the milestones in life. The loss of Eric was a such a painful blow.and left her broken hearted. She missed him dreadfully. I will miss you every day Di but you will be with your beloved Eric. Safe in Gods care now. A world of love from me and love also from Vicky and family .

It was with deep sadness that we learnt of Diane’s passing, she was a lovely lady & despite her recent illness she kept smiling through it all. Our deepest sympathies to her many great friends & neighbours & her family in the UK, May she rest in peace now with her beloved Eric.

I'll miss our chats and WhatsApps and all the thoughtful things you've done for me over the years. I loved my time in Cork with you - we had such fun and chatted for hours. You fed me so much food! I loved sitting in your beautiful garden watching Bobby and Jewell running amongst the hydrangeas. You totally spoilt me. Its with great sadness we are writing this We Became such good friends when yourself and Eric moved to Ireland. We had some great nights out and ye were both the life and soul of every party.
