My most sincere condolences to Diarmaids family on his sudden passing. I worked with Diarmaid for a few years in Kildare. Diarmaid was a very kind man, and quietly supported others through difficult times. His love for Trish was very evident, he was broken hearted at her passing. Now they are reunited. Diarmaid was always upbeat, he loved his golf and lived his life to the full. It was a pleasure and a privilege to know and work with him.

We had the honour of serving on committee with Diarmaid in Castlewarden Golf Club, for many years since 1990. Diarmaid's commitment to the Club was astonishing, no member made a bigger contribution to the development, and success, of the Club than he did. He will be missed greatly by us all in Castlewarden.
