Sheila, I have only heard the news of Diarmuids death. I want to offer my sincere condolences to you and your family and to Diarmuids family, in particular to Diarmuids Mum and Annmarie. Diarmuid had a heavy burden of illness but I never saw him without a smile and cracking a few jokes or enquiring after this and that. He will be missed by his loving family and friends. I am very sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

We recently heard about the sad death of Diarmuid. We enjoyed his company while he was a farming student with us. He said his mother cycled to mass every day to pray for him ... He was the legend who walked from Bandon one night in winter with our neighbour. , and wore out a pair of shoes. (8miles). May he rest in peace. Gone too soon.
