I worked at times with Diarmuid over the years in MSD and always enjoyed his company. He managed to be good fun and ultra calm, while still getting the job done. I am so sorry to hear of big D passing. He was a gentle giant in the middle of our soccer team Blackrock College AFC.A lovely guy. I will always remember him driving his old Opel Kadett with the dodgy radiator from Foxrock to Blackrock Park on a Saturday. RIP Gallo.

Dear Noirin, Blaithnaid Sean Ciara and Gary
I have just watched my first cousin Diarmuid’s funeral mass and it was a credit to you all on how dignified you were on what was a heart wrenching day following months of watching him suffer and so soon after the loss of your mum Fiona.
Try to remember that Diarmuid was, is and always will be your much treasured son, brother and dad that life is for the living and your young lives are to be lived that would be his wish for you.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and may Diarmuid rest in eternal peace.

Sincere condolences to Nóirín and all the family on Diarmuid's passing. We were surprised to hear that he had been ill and then to hear of his passing. We are thinking and praying for you all. Eddie, Deirdre, Eileen, Joanna and Kerry.

I was so sad to hear that Diarmuid was unwell and am deeply sorry to learn that he has passed away. He was one of my brother Fiachra's dearest friends and a fixture of life for as long as I can remember. All I can offer is my heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends, and the many people who loved him. Rest in peace, Gallo.
