Totally devastated for Diarmuid to be taken before his time and still finding it so hard to believe. Such fond memories of Diarmuid with his sharp humour, intelligence, fascinating stories, impeccable taste in music, love of a good booze-up, and his clever, witty poetry. My heart breaks for his wife, 3 beautiful children, his mother and brother, I am desperately sorry for this tragic loss. Shine bright up there Diarmuid, now at peace xx

My deepest sympathies to Anne-Marie & Family on Diarmuid’s sad passing. As a colleague of Diarmuid’s in TU Dublin, I had the pleasure of witnessing his uncanny ability to have a genuine interest and informed opinion on whatever was important in your world, especially if you were one of his students. We will miss his perceptive insights - but most of all his good cheer and inimitable irreverence that brought a smile to our faces. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
