I am very sorry to hear of Diarmuids passing ,Diarmuid took me on for work placement for college last year he was a very decent person and so easy going and helped me to learn new things RIP Diarmuid

From all of Diarmuid’s friends here on Cape Clear, we would like to express our deep sorrow at his sudden passing. Diarmuid was well liked on the island over the last few years, during his summer visits. We will remember him as a happy and cheerful man who always had a smile. We will miss him dearly. Deepest Sympathy John Katrina and the Ryan Family...

We first met Diarmuid in Carvoeiro and are really glad we got the chance to become friendly with him over the years. He was always keen for a lively debate on most topics but it always turned into great fun as opinions went out the window and the chat inevitably moved to jokes and laughter. His sense of humour was infectious and his intelligence knew no bounds. The last time we met up with him before flying back to Ireland as the COVID crisis began, we had a few drinks and chatted with Diarmuid making us laugh with his funny stories and usual wit - that is the way we will always remember him. He really loved his happy place in Portugal and his innovative business with his good friend and co-worker Steve. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Rest in peace Diarmuid, you will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
