Dink (Stephen) McCann

Oh Dink

This is such a shock. Just found out on Facebook. What a great man. We met by chance 21 years ago when i needed to buy some polycarbonate and rang his company. And as the conversation rolled on we realised we shared a love of music and he'd been to gigs that I'd played and on we rolled from there, trading stories - craic - free tickets and off cuts.
The world has lost a sweet soul who helped whenever he could. I'm sorry I didn't check in more often.

So sad to hear of Dinks passing, i dealt with him in plastic solutions over the past few years and knew him to see around Ballybrack growing up, warm and friendly, a nicer guy you could'nt meet. Thinking of all his family and many friends.

I didn't know Stephen but remember him as a customer in my work. I remember him with a smile, very nice and always respectful. I'm very sorry for this great loss to Stephen's family and friends.

A legend around Ashlawn and The Brack, always had a smile on your face and would always stop to have a chat.

Fond memories playing squares out in the back lane with the lads in the shed, and had great craic when I randomly bumped into you at a UFC event in Vegas.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Dinks passing. I will always remember him for his cheeky sense of humor, the way he could make people laugh, and his great love for Liverpool because that’s all he ever talked about. We have so many great memories of Dink, an amazing guy that we had so much craic with over the years. Even the smallest chat with Dink would always leave a smile on our faces. A huge loss.
