Sincere sympathies to Johns family on his sad passing. Both John and his late father Dinnyjoe were great friends of ours over many years. I remember them calling to Kilmolash regularly with a carload of dogs, each one so loved and cared for. Indeed, the dogs would be fed before themselves. They were indeed lovely, gentle, if somewhat eccentric people. John was a fabulous boxer too in his younger days, and could have made it in that sport also if he so chose, but his love of dogs always took precedence. REST IN PEACE old friend.
