It was with great sadness that i heard that Dolores had died. She was a most beautiful person. She took on the roll of ICA president in the Kilnamanagh guild for 3 years. She was quietly confident and came up with some lovely ideas that made attending the guild so enjoyable.
She was a great seamstress and her dress style was second to none.
She was a very good dancer and would waltz around the floor with great energy and never seemed to tire.
Rest in peace now Dolores.

So many many fond memories of our lovely Auntie Dolores. Memories of stories of dances (she could move!), stories of teenage antics with her sisters and brother's and some lovely dresses and skirts she made for us over the years, with magnificent seamstress skill. Memeories of toast over an open fire, silk nightdresses for all the girl's and night time stories when we all lived together at St James Road. You will be missed Dolores for your straight talking, no nonsense, all done with a beautiful loving heart. A great big sister to my mam and Bernie, a great aunt to all of us and a loving, supportive mother to your girls. I hope you are somewhere with nana, your brothers and your sister. Deepest sympathy to the family. Dolores was a wonderful woman. She never forgot to call and visit my late mum after Sid passed away. We will remember her with great fondness.
