Dearest Delores. I’m sending my deepest condolences to you and your family. I thought the world of you.

Equally happy when we went on family holidays. I’m very happy that we came over to see you in October though.

From being a boy on Drumcliffe Road, you were always my friend.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Dolores. I got to meet and know Dolores during her stay in the Home. She was a fabulous, fiercely strong woman. She was headstrong and had such a quick wit. She would make a comment to catch someone off guard while cheekily winking at someone else behind their back. She was very knowledgeable and always had advice to share. I am happy I got to know her in this life, and I pray that she is resting now in the next. I see her sitting in the garden of Heaven with a cigarette in one hand, a cuppa in the other listening to the radio and feeding the birds.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dolores, a great woman who helped her community and was a past president of our club.
