Dear Dom and Ruth,
Deepest condolences on the passing of your dad Don. He fought his illness for so long and with great dignity. We have some great memories of watching boxing in Devitts and sing song sessions afterwards! The ‘brush’ moments will live on for sure. Take care of yourselves and each other. Many a good time we had in the past - in the early days at the Boxing in the Stadium with Frank and later times at Carey Family gatherings. Dom and I shared a great love of opera and indeed many a time he entertained us with his grand singing. He was a very old and true friend and I am indeed very sad at his passing. So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I can vividly recall him walking back from mass in Millbrook on Sunday mornings, charcoal grey slacks, navy blazer, white shirt and tie, shoes shined, haired combed back, papers under the arm and the big smile! A gentleman of the old school, equally at home in the presence of paupers and princes, welcoming to all. Rest in peace Don.

Ruth and Dominic,so sorry to hear about the sad passing of your Dad.Great memories I have of your Mam and Dad,trying to teach us to dance in st Dominic's school many moons ago. We had some craic and it gave me a love of dancing I wont forget.
