As a visitor to Westport, I passed his shop, was drawn in and purchased wellies there. I loved the old style and feel of it, so much so that I recommended the shop to a few of my friends in need of wellies. Was it the shop, his character or the atmosphere, perhaps all of it. He and his business definitely reminded me of a different world and I know I miss the shop and Dominic.

Dominic was a valued committee member of the Westport Civic Trust. and we were sad to hear of his passing.
