So sorry to read this sad news and I extend my sincere sympathy to all Dom's family and friends. I knew Dom when he was studying in VTOS. He was a lovely, kind and intelligent student. It was a pleasure to have in class. May Dom rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Dom’s family and friends. I met Dom first during the fight against the water charges, at meetings in the Teachers Club. He was great fun, but also serious about the campaign and what it represented. Dom was easy to like and I was always happy to catch up with him and hear about his experiences and views. He really will be missed.

Very sorry to hear the news. I first met Dom at a public meeting on water charges in Athlone, probably around 2014/15. I remember from that meeting how he was respected by others there. I always found Dom to be sincere, honest and principled. Best wishes to his family and friends who I know will miss him greatly.

Dom was always a familiar face at many of the meetings, vigils and protests for issues that impacted the rights of the people in Athlone and Ireland. He was committed to standing up for those issues which was not always an easy thing. I didn't know him well but I have great respect for all of his hard work.
