Don was an inspiration to many of us in the way he embraced life, shrugged at adversity, gave you his warm, embracing smile, and proceeded to espouse positivity. He and I shared a love of reading and I was forever keen to get his views on the latest book we had both read. I will miss him

Jan and all the family

We too are devastated to lose Don , while we are new kids on the block ,so to speak , as regards length of friendship, we have had some wonderful times together over the past five years , a chance meeting from an overheard conversation in a golf club that led to many days and nights together full of laughter and good craic ! There are good people and there are GREAT people , Don and Jan are in that category , we will miss Don and our friendship with Jan will grow even stronger both home and away ! His memory will burn as brightly as his smile
