Don (Donald P.) McKENNA

We have known Don for the last 15 years or so. Only in a professional capacity but nevertheless his humour and humanity shone through and he was always great to meet over cups of coffee in various city centre hotels.
He was an excellent financial advisor. We had a small connection in relation to my home place, Kilmore, C. Wexford.
Our deepest sympathy to all his family. R.I.P

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a longstanding and highly respected member of LIA.

Throughout his career, Don made an exceptional contribution not only to LIA but also to the wider profession, including his valued involvement with MDRT. His commitment, professionalism, and generosity in sharing his knowledge left a lasting impact on colleagues and the industry as a whole.

On behalf of LIA, we extend our sincere condolences to Don's family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.

I am saddened to learn only now that Don had passed. Sincere condolences to all his family at this difficult and sad time for you all. As a colleague in the broker profession I always enjoyed meeting Don at various industry events including trips to MDRT gatherings in North America - he was a gentleman and a kind and humourous person May Don now be at Eternal Peace

So very sorry to hear of Don's passing. He often stopped for a chat in the lobby or carpark and I really enjoyed our conversations - a kind and genuine man. My sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear this news on Don's passing. A genuinely lovely person, who would always greet you with a smile and take genuine interest in other people. Only heard of Don’s passing today , so sad to hear it, he was a decent man , R.I.p. Don

He was a great neighbour in Hollywood Drive , in particular to our late parents who lived in No 28 , always on the look out for them and willing to offer a helping hand whenever needed.
We were so grateful to him .
We missed his funeral mass, we heard too late to attend , but would like to have been there to celebrate his life and thank you in person for his watchful eye over Dad and Mam in their later years .

My sincere condolences to Don’s family. Don and I first got to know each other at Oatlands College PPU events many years ago and since then we would meet from time to time when out and about in Goatstown/Kilmacud. I was shocked to hear the sad news. Rest in Peace Don.
