I was saddened and shocked to hear of Donal's death. I knew him professionally and respected his great abilities and professionalism. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I originally met Donal through the Environmental Policy Committee in IBEC around 8 years ago. I am truly honoured and privileged to have met and worked with him over the years. He leaves a huge gap in all the many aspects of his life, but he also leaves behind a personal and business legacy that will be difficult to beat. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. I extend my condolences to Agnes, Eva & Grace, along with his extended family. May he rest in peace.

A founding Director of WEEE Ireland, Donal was the man behind setting up the Electrical Recycling scheme in Ireland. WEEE Ireland and the Electrical industry will forever be grateful and will also remember what Donal achieved for our industry. Donal was a Gentleman a very calm individual, he gave great advice and was a great facilitator. The Board of WEEE Ireland and I will miss him dearly. We wish to pass on our sincere condolences to his wife Agnes, his two daughters Eva and Grace and his extended family, may he rest in peace.

Donal was for many years a leading light in the packaging recycling industry through his membership of the board of Repak.He was always supportive and encouraging, but above all, he was a really warm and funny man. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sincerest condolences to his wife Agnes and girls.
