My condolences to Donal’s family and extended family. I got to know Donal when I was working in Carrick-on-Shannon in the 1970’s We were privileged to have his sister, Sr. Inez teaching in the local Primary School. I trust that Donal is now fully present to God and all those he loved in this life.

We here in Carrick only got to know Donal and his wife, when Sr Inez joined us here in Community, some years back; when all three were able to enjoy each other's company. Oh, not only the latter enjoyed their many visits to her, but also all of us here. There was fun and laughter and I personally felt that it was a very special time indeed. Blessings and peace on each one and know that " All is Well".

We were so very sorry and sad to hear of your Dads passing , Peter, especially so soon after your Mum. Thinking of you , Brona and Sinéad at this difficult time. May he Rest in Peace.

Donal and Kathleen were frequent visitors to our house over the year when we were younger, visiting our Mum and Gran. Our Gran was a neighbour of Donal’s in Stravannies.

Donal lived opposite mum R.I.P. in Ardnaveigh.
He would often call around to mum and reminisce about the good old days in Glenfarne as they both grew up together and went to school there. Many the good chat i had with him.
