I had the honour of being Donals postman for a long time in Ballymun-
He was truly one of the nicest people you could ever meet! With his famous greeting of Hello Friend everytime i met him and a handshake or a first bump! Always had great chats with him when id have post for him- his door was usually open and he would always shout Come on in Friend!! Anytime i drove by in him in the van I'd always give him a beep- he always spotted me and would give a great wave back! He was so popular and rightly so he was a gem! a true Ballymun legend-
