Dónal was always so nice and friendly to me . He often sang a song for me before I left his home which always brought a smile to my face. He also gave me cuttings of plants from his gorgeous garden. I will always think of Dónal as they grow.

My lovely neighbour who let me play in his garden since I was a tot and taught me to appreciate the beauty of plants, nature and gardens. The Japanese lantern plant was always my favourite and he’d send me home with some to marvel at. RIP Dónal and my condolences to Helen and the wider family.
