Being a distant relative, I had the chance to visit with Donal only a few times, but even then his kindness and gentleness left a lasting impression. Donal and the entire O'Connell family always made me and my family feel welcome. My mother's visit with Donal, her first cousin, was a trip of a lifetime.
May Finola, Sarah and Pat find solace in knowing that Donal touched the hearts of so many.
