Donal O'DONOVAN

I am so sorry to learn of Donal's death, and especially to have heard of it too late to attend his funeral. I'd have liked to express my appreciation directly to his family. We knew each other years ago as daily swimmers at the Fortyfoot, and also through a Fellowship to which we both belonged. In this latter regard, Donal was a great friend, example and support to me in those days when I most needed it. May he rest in peace - though I'm sure his spirit will be hovering around Leopardstown on St. Stephen's Day!
