Shane, sorry to hear of the sad passing of your father, Donal. My heart goes out to you, Eimear, and the family and of course the O’Donovan clan. It is a very sad time so close to Christmas, but I am sure his memory will lighten the load and bring a smile. May he rest in peace and always be in your hearts as you are in ours today.

His encouragement to youth teams was unreal .. along with Joe Giblin he brought an All Ireland u 14 back to Clane in 1994. They both left an everlasting legacy. Always full of banter and divilment . He was a man of sterling worth whose life was one of commitment to family, Community and to Country. His love of Gaelic Football and Handball allowed him to give of his time and talents to his local community.
