Sincere condolences on the sad passing of Donal RIP. He was a true gentleman and I have many happy memories of him and all the family. He was a fond favourite in Churchill as he boasted that his full name was Donal Alphonsus and we enjoyed every visit he paid us when he visited Portumna. May he rest in Peace.

Donie was a true gentleman. He always seemed in good humour, with a wry smile and a good word about everyone and everything. He never looked anything like his age - maybe because he was always so well groomed and dressed. He and Carmel just seemed to be the perfect couple, and you always felt better after meeting with them.
His loss to all of his friends and family will be but a fraction of his loss to you, dear Carmel. We have all lost a good man; you have lost your lifelong best friend.
