Don was a fantastic teammate on the tennis court. Astute, clever and not short of a witty response to a bad shot. He was a great walker and companion on all the Fitzamblers trips. On a personal level I remember many quite words of advice from Don when I discussed work issues with him. He has left a wonderful legacy which will remain while he is missed.

The world is a lesser place in the absence of Don. A "people" person who strived for good health. He will leave a gap in all of the lives of those who were priviliged to know him. My thoughts are with Annmarie, Rory and the rest of the family at this very sad time.

Don was a gentleman and he was a great conversationalist, he could talk about anything and never ran out of anything to say and we had great chats reading the Sunday Papers in Fltc. I learned a lot from Don as he imparted his knowledge onto me! For a long time I only knew him as Don but learned after a long time Jennifer my friend was his daughter!
